  34. Information Manager Professional is a personal information manager
  35. appropriate for the Professional but is also a great program for use
  36. the casual home user.
  37.  
  38. Information Manager Professional is THE personal information manager
  39. for the professional who needs all their Time Management concerns at
  40. their fingertips. This is more than a set of databases, it's an
  41. efficient organizer of your day to day agendas both professional and
  42. personal.
  43.  
  44. Information Manager Professional contains the following organizing and
  45. scheduling modules:
  46.  
  47.   Addresses -- all the fields needed for names, addresses, phone numbers,
  48.     birthdays, anniversaries, interests, hobbies and for notes. There is 
  49.     also the capability of keep a separate database of Letters you have
  50.     sent to the persons in each individual entry. Birthdays and 
  51.     Anniversaries can access the Calender module for inclusion in your  
  52.     daily events listing. There is extensive flagging and tagging for 
  53.     both entry and label printing.
  54.  
  55.   Billing -- A complete billing system for the individual or small
  56.     business. Billing will interact with the Clients module.
  57.  
  58.   Area Codes -- Half-screen listing of WORLD Area Codes and their matching,
  59.     major cities. Fully searchable database by Area Code, City or Country.
  60.     Also has the ability to add and save future Area Code changes. This
  61.     is available from any module or even from Workbench when IMPro is in
  62.     iconified state.

  64.   Calendar -- shows schedule from day to day, month to month, and year to
  65.     year. It will show your daily ToDo's Appointments, Birthdays, 
  66.     Anniversaries and Holidays (U.S. and Canada). There is also access
  67.     to a separate Daily Journal (Diary) for each day. The dates can be
  68.     flagged for individual or multiple printouts to either printer or
  69.     a file.

  71.   Contacts -- Keeps track of all business Contacts with all necessary
  72.     information and history. Also branches out to Project and/or Agenda
  73.     databases for the individual Contacts. Next Meeting or Call can be
  74.     set by way of the Calender interacting with Contacts. The Project
  75.     Manager will help keep track of time charges and related information.

  77.   Clients -- Keeps track of all Clients with all necessary information
  78.     and history. Also branches out to Project and/or Agenda
  79.     databases for the individual Clients. Next Meeting or Call can be
  80.     set by way of the Calender interacting with Clients.

  82.   Computer -- Keep track of all your computer's hardware and software.
  83.     Great for getting those serial numbers or tech support phone numbers.

  85.   Inventory -- Keeps track of Home and Business Inventories, Ideal for
  86.     insurance purposes.

  88.   NotePad -- ASCII Text Editor has search, replace, cut, paste, document
  89.     insertion and more, plus an editable Macro setup for up to 10
  90.     255-character macros and/or 20 full text file macros. You can set
  91.     auto wordwrap on or off. Global word wrapping of a current document
  92.     is possible at the click of a button.
  93.     Importable into any word processor.

  95.   Reservations -- Actually contains 3 separate database for keeping
  96.     track of all your Accomodation, Transportation and Dining places.
  97.     For either your home town or for out of town. Specialties, type,
  98.     phone numbers, addreses, and much more.

  100.   To Dos -- Keeps track of Personal and Business To Do's. Interacts with
  101.     the Calendar for setting the deadline date and adding the ToDo to
  102.     daily events in the Calender.

  104.   Wallet -- Keeps track of all Credit Cards, Licenses, etc.
  105.  
  106.   Config -- Configure for: type of phone line in place, which Serial device,
  107.     datafiles, location, autosave choice, iconize on startup, data and time
  108.     format. Preset your name and address for auto inclusion in the Notepad.
  109.  
  110.   All areas have: An online Alarm Clock function (with up to 10 alrms or
  111.     reminders by date and time), online help window, extensive search
  112.     and mark capabilities, palette control function (screen and text). 
  113.     Print to printer or file. Uniform display of date and time, and much 
  114.     more. Iconize from any module to the Workbench. Online Calculator 
  115.     available at the click of a button. All modules, except NotePad and 
  116.     Calender have five dialing fields useable if you have a modem, but also 
  117.     if you don't. Multiple selection of entries and/or fields from any
  118.     database. All Notes areas in the modules can be expanded to work with
  119.     the NotePad and it's many features.

  122. It is compatible with all existing Amigas.

  126. Notes about this Demo.

  129. This Demo of Information Manager Professional is a limited version of the
  130. Registered Release. The following are functions that have been disabled
  131. and/or limited.
  132.  
  133. Printouts contain the line "Information Manager Professional DEMO"
  134. All databases allow only 10 entries.
  135. Notepad's loading functions will only operate 10 times per session.
  136. Dialing functions operate only 10 times per session.
  137. Area Codes can be viewed but Add and Save feature are disabled.
  138. No documentation BUT extensive online HELP windows.
  139.  
  140. Although the above functions are disabled, you can still get a very good
  141. idea of just how helpful Information Manager Professional can be.
  142.  
  143. One hint for anyone who "Iconizes" the program to the Workbench..
  144.  
  145. Click on the icon with the left mouse button and then click your
  146. right mousse button to have the Menu appear on your Workbench.
